The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.
SASSA might be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area every day. The service point established for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that Workplace to website attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
